Language Lands is a foreign language learning program developed for children of all learning types, ages three through twelve. Language Lands has been invented by a stay at home mother who was determined to find a language learning program that she and her children really liked and that was successful in helping her four children truly come to learn and understand another language.

Language Lands Details
Language Lands currently offers the first 3 books of two languages: Spanish and German.
Eventually the full set of a total of 12 books will be produced in Chinese, French and Russian as well.

800 of the most commonly spoken English words have been separated into the 12 beautifully written and illustrated children's books. Each book comes with a CD that contains audio of the story being read, phrase by phrase, first in the English language and next in the foreign language.
Each book falls under one of three levels: Level One, Level Two and Level Three. Going from intermediate to more difficult. Although younger children will grasp the shorter translated fragments and simpler vocabulary more in level one or even level two, there is still much that they are able to learn from the books in level three.
Visual Learners
For visual learners Language Lands has color coded the sentence fragments so that it is visually easy to discern which of the foreign language words correlate to the English words. This helps children learn and understand not only the specific vocabulary words of the language they are learning but it also helps them to understand how the words are placed in the language.
Auditory Learners
For Auditory learners each book comes with a CD that contains the voice overs for each book. Each CD consists of the following:
Track 1: English to Foreign Language Voice Over
Track 2: Word Review and Pronunciation: Adjectives, Nouns, Prepositions, Pronouns, Verbs and Other
Track 3: Stars: Information about the Translations
Track 4: Games: Find the Image in the Book
Track 5: Story Told in Foreign Language Only
For Kinesthetic Learners Language Lands has created a workbook, BINGO game (with cd) and coloring pages for each book to help children learn the language in a more thorough way by using a hands-on approach.
Language Immersion
Language immersion within school classrooms are becoming more and more common. Usually this consists of a teacher speaking only a particular language throughout the course of that class with the requirement of students speaking and writing in only that language as well.
With Language Lands children have the opportunity to immerse themselves in another language within the comfort of their own home and in a variety of ways: listening to the stories, playing games, listening to words being reviewed, practicing pronunciation and working in workbooks.
Loving Languages
Language Lands was created not only to help a child learn and understand a new language in a way never done before but it was created with the goal to help children enjoy their language learning journey and come to love the language being learned as well.
